Description

Filipino spring rolls, usually filled with a mixture of minced meat (pork or beef), vegetables, and sometimes shrimp. They are wrapped in a thin egg roll wrapper and deep-fried until crispy. Lumpia is often served with a sweet and savory dipping sauce.

Ingredients

  • Ground meat (pork or beef)
  • Vegetables (carrots, cabbage, etc.)
  • Spring roll wrappers
  • Garlic
  • Onions
  • Soy sauce
  • Fish sauce

Steps

  1. Combine ground meat, vegetables, garlic, onions, soy sauce, and fish sauce.
  2. Place a portion of the mixture on a spring roll wrapper and roll tightly.
  3. Fry until golden brown.
  4. Serve with a dipping sauce.
